Shigs in Pit

So most of the time this place is usually soooo good. I've tasted almost all their sides and some of the stuff I normally wouldn't eat they found a way to make great. Only complaint I have is that a couple of times, this last visit included their mac n cheese or whatever it's called was old. It was almost closing time granted , but as much as I paid I would like all my food to be fresh or don't serve it ...say your out . When I opened it I could visually see it wasn't good so, if I could tell I know the people who made it knew the product was old.

Always great BBQ. It's real hard to screw up BBQ, so I usually judge a place but their side dishes. Their sides have their own unique twist and I absolutely love them. My only complaint, and reason for four start is that they need fries or tator tots or some sort of fried potato.

Came for the name, stayed for the fantastic food! I had the chopped chicken and beef brisket, which were both excellent. Tender and flavorful. For sides I got the Mac and cheese and the potato casserole. I could eat a tub of both! They do not slouch on their side dishes, even with fantastic mains! Adding the BBQ sauce from the table only adds to what is already a tasty meal.
